Protection Granted during the Feast of Tabernacles

Dream 9/21/2018
Protection Granted during the Feast of Tabernacles

Symbols:
  • Black Ford Focus I “borrowed” from someone
  • Top of a hill where a camp celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles was located
  • I was walking dressed with the nightgown I was wearing while having the dream
  • White comforter served as a tent of protection over me
  • A dust storm that seemed a reddish / brown color, like the one shown here.

In the dream, I was transported to a place I had never been to. In the first part of the
dream, which is a vision, I saw myself driving the black Ford Focus car that took me to
an encampment, that I understood was during the Feast of Tabernacles. In the vision,
I peered down from the top of a hill, such as the one you see below, and while I was
looking down, I felt awe and amazement to know that people would, to this day, still
celebrate this feast which was established by the Lord. I was also impressed with the
feeling of wonder, that Jesus actually preached on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles,
and thought, “how amazing that Jesus participated in a party like this!”
After stepping on the top of that hill and looking down to the encampment, I felt that
I urgently needed to return the black Ford Focus that I had “borrowed” and so I then
see myself in another scene, walking in a street, in a place I have never been to.

In that vision, I was again walking with the nightgown I was sleeping in, and was trying
to “cover” my torso, but was walking in a straight posture. As I walked and passed a
street corner, I sensed that a big dust storm was going to pass me by, and immediately
I notice the atmosphere changes to a brownish - red hue. Simultaneously, I see I am
carrying, gathered on my back, the white comforter I was sleeping in, and immediately
see how I throw it forward and around me, creating a type of shelter from the dust storm
around me.

When I wake up, I start recalling parts of the dream, and as I am sharing them with my
husband, I pick up a white sheet on our bed, so I could demonstrate how the white
comforter was protecting me from the storm. What followed was an immediate
understanding that it served as a tent of protection, such as the ones I saw in the
encampment during the Feast of Tabernacles!!!

It brings great joy to my heart to know that God would choose a dream/vision as this,
for me to picture what it is He plans for us, His people!

Interpretation:
The Ford Focus car I was driving, represents the FOCUS that God wants us to have
throughout this week that we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles! He wants us to focus
on thanking Him for the past blessings of provision and protection over our lives, and
also thank Him in anticipation for His goodness to us in this new season we are stepping
in! Do not be distracted!

I experienced being protected during that awful dust storm, where I noticed that the
white of the comforter was not stained with filth, due to the storm...it remained white.
This is what Psalm 91:9-10 refers to:
If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

The Spirit of the Lord had me run a quick research about dust storms in Israel. Here is
the scientific connection that I found:

In the article titled “The Dust Storm Microbiome,” from the Weizmann Institute of
Science, located in Rehovot, Israel, I learned:
  • Israel is subjected to sand and dust storms from several directions: northeast
from the Sahara, northwest from Saudi Arabia and southwest from the desert
regions of Syria. The airborne dust carried in these storms affects the health of
people and ecosystems alike.
  • part of the effect might not be in the particles of dust but rather in bacteria that
cling to them, traveling many kilometers in the air with the storms.
  • there are bacterial populations and environmental conditions existing in each
demographic area
  • researchers found that during a dust storm the concentration of bacteria and the
number of bacterial species present in the atmosphere rise sharply, so people
walking outdoors in these storms are exposed to many more bacteria than usual
  • This bacteria carries antibiotic resistance, and according to the World Health
Organization, it has been defined as one of the primary global health challenges
of the twenty-first century

Scripture alignment:

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not
to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your
protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. - Psalm 5:11

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him,
for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be
with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
- Psalm 91

In Psalm 91:4, rampart makes reference to a defensive wall or walled city.

Today at sundown, begins the celebration for the Feast of Tabernacles! WOW! I am expectant for what the Lord will do throughout this whole week from today, 9/23/2018 - 9/30/2018. This is an open invitation from the Lord, for anyone who acknowledges that He is good! Trust in God´s promises and respond with worship! A GREAT BLESSING has been prepared for us to walk into! Do not be distracted and miss out! Be joyful as you thank Him in anticipation of the riches of His goodness He has in store for us!

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. - Zechariah 14:16-19
